Triangle Wins the Whiteland Halloween Hundred Endurance Race
1st Overall
Whiteland Raceway Park
Kart #7 finished first overall on a cold November afternoon at Whiteland Raceway Park. The annual Halloween Hundred, a 100 lap endurance race and the most similar race to the Purdue Grand Prix in April, had been delayed due to bad weather. Our kart was the only one that endured the entire race, while others broke down from equipment failures.
Thank you to Triangle Alumni Tony Seyfried, who saw our kart through the race and lent a hand during our pit stop. Brachston Grubbs, our reliable Head Mechanic and recent graduate, made his final appearance in the Triangle Racing pit crew. Thank you, Brachston, for all your hard work and dedication to our revitalized program. Our returning Crew Chief, senior Wyatt Dahlenburg, did an excellent job making sure our team came out on top.
