Jared continued to race nearly every weekend this summer at Newcastle Motorsports Park in the Yamaha Senior can class. He gained lots of experience on a chassis identical to the Triangle A Team Grand Prix kart. In early July, Jared raced in the Battle at the Brickyard, a national go-kart race inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where he and the other karters got the chance to take a lap around the 2.5 mile oval.
